PROPERTY MAINTENANCE STANDARDS

The Village of Star Prairie would like to remind ALL property owners that they are required to adhere to the minimum property maintenance standards as described in Title 15, Chapter 4 of the village Code of Ordinances. This includes minimum housing standards as well as Section 15-4-3 Prohibition of Litter, Rubbish, or Debris. No owner or occupant is allowed accumulation, outside of a building or structure, any litter, refuse, machine parts, metal scraps, lumber, discarded/non-functioning appliances, furniture, etc. that presents a blighted appearance on the property or which constitutes a nuisance or which tends to decrease the value of neighboring properties. Complaints can be filed with Public Works by filling out the Code Complaint Violation Form and returning via email to Publicworks@villageofstarprairie.com or the Clerk at clerk@villageofstarprairie.com.
