The Community Center is available for rent and accommodates up to 78 people. There is a full kitchen and 8 tables with 82 chairs to use. Fee schedule:
- Non-Resident/Group $100,
- Resident/Group $50,
- Non-Profit Organization/Educational $25
State Law requires all dogs to be licensed annually. You can obtain a dog license from the Village Office in person or by mail. Provide a copy of your dog's Rabies Vaccination Certificate. Fee is $5 for Spayed or Neutered dogs, $10 if your dog is not Spayed or Neutered.
Completion of this Fireworks Permit Application along with the approval of the Village Board warrants an issued permit. The completed application will be brought to the Village Board for approval during a scheduled Village Board Meeting. Meetings are held on the Second Tuesday of the month, so plan accordingly. If you are serving and selling alcohol beverages at an establishment, you are required to have a license issued by the municipality in which you are working. The license fee is $30 from the date hereof to 6/30/2018.
Available to clubs, associations, churches and societies for events lasting less than four days to sell beer and/or wine. The fee is $10 (license and processing). Remember, a licensed operator must be present at all times. Temporary Class B Picnic License
The River Island Park Shelter and the Ballpark Shelter are available for rent. Please contact the Village Office to see if your requested date is available. You will have 10 days to complete your form, send fees to the Village to keep your date. If form/fees are not returned in 10 days, the date will be opened for rental. All rentals require a $50 damage deposit, returnable after your event if there is no damage or cleaning needed. Fee Schedule: Non-Resident $100 and Resident $0.
Residents are required to notify the St. Croix County Dispatch, Non-Emergency number (715) 246-6131 prior to open burning of brush, leaves and vegetative debris. Burning permits are not required for recreational campfires in a fire pit; please use caution, consider the wind conditions and have water on hand to extinguish. You may call the Village Office to see if there is a burning restriction in place.
